Andrew Hernandez
Andrew Hernandez, PA-C is a physician assistant certified by the National Commision on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA). Andrew is a Certified Medical Examiner through the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.
Andrew started his journey into medicine by obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Health from Miami University in Oxford, OH. At Miami he was heavily involved in the university honors program, Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity, and co founded the univeristy chapter of the Minority Association of Pre-medical Students.
Andrew has worked as both a business analyst in the medical steel industry and as a certified nursing assistant in a busy med-surg unit specializing in orthopedic, general, and urologic surgery. He has been recognized by name by the Press Ganey survey on numerous occasions while working as a nursing assistant.
Andrew completed his Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the top ranked Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, IL. His training included rotations in internal medicine, general surgery, plastic surgery, and family practice. As a Chicagoland native, Andrew is proud to be keeping Chicago’s workforce healthy and pain free.
